INSTRUCTION

EXERCISES
Exercise 01 | Lines and Shapes
During the first class, Mr. Shamsul introduced us to Adobe Animate and guided us through its basic features. He explained the interface, showing us how to navigate tools like the timeline, layers, and drawing tools. The session set a solid foundation for us to explore more advanced animation techniques in future classes.

Exercise 02 | Car Motion
We then learned how to create simple animations by working with keyframes and motion tweens. Mr. Shamsul also emphasized the importance of understanding the software’s capabilities for creating interactive and engaging content.

Exercise 03 | Spider Motion
During this class, Mr. Shamsul introduced us to a more complex animation technique, and I found myself feeling a bit overwhelmed. The new skills involved multiple layers of detail and precision that went beyond the basics we had previously learned. It required more intricate use of keyframes and advanced motion effects, which initially felt intimidating. I struggled to keep up at first, but Mr. Shamsul’s step-by-step guidance helped me gradually understand the process.

Task 01 | Thematic Interactive Design Proposal
Choosing the topic
Initially, I brainstormed five different topics to present to Mr. Shamsul for feedback. I wanted to explore different ideas, so I picked a range of subjects that intrigued me. When I shared them with him, he carefully reviewed each one and gave me insightful feedback on which would be the best fit based on my interests and the project requirements.

Brainstorming
When brainstorming the thematic interactive website proposal for Van Gogh's Immersive Art Journey, I started by thinking about how to capture the emotional essence of Van Gogh’s work while also creating a compelling user experience. I explored ways to make the website not just a gallery but a multi-sensory journey, where users could interact with the art—feeling the texture of his brushstrokes virtually, learning about his techniques, and hearing stories behind each piece. I also considered how to structure the flow so that users feel connected to Van Gogh's life, progressing through different phases of his artistic journey. Balancing the visual aesthetics with seamless functionality became a central focus in my brainstorming, making sure that the website would be engaging, educational, and easy to navigate.

REFLECTION
Experience
Working on a proposal for an interactive website themed around Van Gogh's Immersive Art Journey was both creatively enriching and technically challenging. It was not just about showcasing his art; it was about making it come alive in a digital space. Balancing the emotional depth and vibrant energy of Van Gogh’s work with the technical aspects of web design were quite a struggle. I needed to create something that was not just visually appealing but also engaging and informational for the users.

Objectives
The aim was to create a website that did not just display Van Gogh’s artwork but invited users to truly experience it. I wanted people to feel immersed in his world, allowing them to explore his masterpieces in a way that engaged their senses and sparked curiosity. It was not just about looking at the art but interacting with it—whether through virtual galleries or interactive features that make Van Gogh's techniques and vision feel more personal and alive.

Findings
Through this project, I realized how important it is to connect emotional storytelling with technology. Incorporating elements like virtual galleries, audio narratives, and interactive features allowed the art to be more than a visual experience. User engagement could be enhanced through interactive timelines and in-depth information on Van Gogh’s techniques and life, bridging the gap between art history and modern technology. This experience also deepened my understanding of audience interaction, as creating a smooth and intuitive interface was essential to maintain user interest.
