REFLECTION
Experience
Typography has been a new learning for me during this semester. To be honest, this module was quite challenging since I had limited knowledge of Typography and I was also lacking of knowledge in using Adobe software. Fortunately, my experience this semester exceeded my expectations and resulted Typography to be the most enjoyable module that I have taken. Even though I did encountered some difficulties while also needed some time to adapt, I slowly managed to finish all of the assignments successfully. In addition, I appreciated Mr. Vinod's consistent provision of feedback, which allowed me to learn and implement improvements promptly. Through this module, I have acquired knowledge about Typography which develops my mindset as a design students. Overall, I found this module to be enjoyable and exploratory as I was introduced to new softwares such as 'InDesign' and 'FontLab'. The challenges and setbacks that I encountered have served me as a valuable learning experiences which contributed to my personal growth.

Observations
After acquiring knowledge in Typography, I began to actively observe typography around my surroundings. I even started paying attention to the subtle details in letterforms and appreciate them as I know how much work is acquired to develop them. This module significantly enhanced my observational skills. During the feedback sessions, I realized that our opinions may differ and not as detailed as the lecturer due to the differences in experiences. However, I also understand that we could perceive things that others might overlook. Thus, it became clear to me that learning from every feedback is crucial as it will help us to avoid making the same mistake. It was only through this module that I truly grasped the immense role of Typography has in the design world.

Findings
Typography encompasses far more than simply selecting or designing fonts based on our personal preferences. It is much more beyond as there are several rules or guidelines that are required in order to develop such letterforms. At first, I viewed typefaces as mere conveyors of text, but now I perceive them as intricate designs themselves. Throughout learning this module, I gained an understanding of the technical aspects and principles of typography that were previously unknown to me. I also discovered that sometimes even subtle adjustments can profoundly convey meaning typographically. Reflecting on the previous task that I have done, I acquired the skills to construct a typeface using strokes, shapes, and pen tools in which I found it quite captivating. Overall, I am satisfied with my dedication to completing all the tasks and the significant amount of knowledge that I am able to gain through my engagement with the module.
