REFLECTION

Experience

Throughout doing this module, I experienced doing a lot of new things, which piqued my interest in completing the assignments. However, I did still have some difficulties, particularly with the final project because it required a lot of time and we had to make all the components from scratch. While I am satisfied with the overall outcomes of my projects, I recognize that there were opportunities for improvement throughout the process.

Observation

This module provided me with a deeper understanding of how cameras function, delving into the intricacies involved in capturing the perfect shot and the nuances of lighting. As I have no prior knowledge of using cameras and its setups, I was really This knowledge proved valuable, given that the focus of the module predominantly revolved around mastering the use of a dedicated camera rather than relying on standard phone settings.

Findings

This module has been an extensive learning experience for me, particularly in using programs like Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition, and the intricacies of film production and stop-motion creation. It introduced numerous considerations essential for crafting a compelling film or stop-motion, such as the impact of lighting and angles on the overall quality, storytelling, and emotional tone of scenes. The hands-on experience included my role as an assistant director in a production shoot and the production of a stop-motion short film, which proved to be a fun, eye-opening learning journey. Overall, I am content with the completion of various tasks and projects, having gained a wealth of new knowledge.
