REFLECTION
Experience
Over the course of this semester, each task has brought its own set of
challenges, but the joy of completing a webpage has been consistently
exhilarating. Learning to code feels like acquiring a new language, and I
find excitement and satisfaction in building my skills. Starting from the
basics of HTML and CSS and progressing to the development of a full-fledged
website, I must admit that this module has been the most demanding for me
compared to others. As someone who values creativity, there were moments
when the coding aspect felt a bit monotonous. Nevertheless, I'm grateful
that I successfully tackled all the assigned tasks and achieved the learning
outcomes I aimed for.
Observation
This module has shown me that learning to code can be an exhausting task as
the activities can get relatively repetitious. It takes time and familiarity
with the terminology to become comfortable enough with coding. I look
forward to my knowledge and interest in coding growing over time.
Findings
While coding, I found myself embracing difficulties that went beyond my
usual comfort zone rather than giving in to fear. These challenges piqued
my interest and strengthened my will to keep going even when solutions
seemed far away. I discovered a resilient side of myself that enjoys
coming up with new ideas and solving problems in the face of uncertainty.
Through understanding HTML and CSS, I was able to access an intuitive
feeling that made these languages feel less alien than completely
unfamiliar ones. Raising my knowledge of these components has been
essential to my pursuit to improve my coding skills.
