Artwork title: Water is Life

Artist Statement: My artwork attempts to raise awareness about the critical global need for clean water and sanitation. As an artist, I believe it is my obligation to use my skills to bring attention on significant issues affecting people's health and well-being. I hope that my artwork will inspire people to become advocates for clean water and sanitation, while also making them to take action on making differences in their communities and around the world. As can be seen from my poster, it uses bright colors and vivid imagery in order to grab the viewer's attention and convey the importance of this subject. I attempt to make the message understandable and relatable to a wide audience by employing basic and direct word choices. In conclusion, I believe that everyone has the right to have access to clean water and sanitation, hence it is our common responsibility to make this a reality.

Title: Whispers of Serenity

Artist Statement: In my exploration of digital photography animation, I invite viewers into a world of tranquility and dreams with my project, "Whispers of Serenity". Through this artistic endeavor, I seek to evoke a sense of calmness and offer a respite from the chaos of everyday life. The animation technique I employ allows me to breathe life into my captured photographs, transforming them into a fluid and dynamic visual experience. By animating these still images, I aim to transcend the boundaries of traditional photography and delve into the realm of dreams and the subconscious. Additionally, by incorporating soothing lo-fi music, the message of the animated visuals would be enhanced, and viewers would be able to revel in and experience such sensations.

REFLECTION

Throughout this journey of taking this module, I have been gaining a fulfilling experience. I gained knowledge of the technical elements of photography, such as camera settings, composition and exposure, which allows me to take capture images carefully and precisely. The module also introduced me to digital imaging tools like Adobe Photoshop, which allowed me to improve my photography skills. I also developed a sharp sense of details and a deeper understanding of the beauty of moments that are present in our daily life. Overall, this module gave me the abilities to express myself through images.
